PUBLIC

Cincinnati-based PUBLIC is a pop/rock trio (RIYL, Neon Trees, The Killers) of young men that have a track record of breaking down barriers and show no signs of slowing down any time soon. The band was discovered in February 2011 – literally at a battle of the bands – by Brian Penick of The Counter Rhythm Group, an artist development company that has worked with artists like Walk The Moon, Wussy and more. "I knew from the first thirty seconds of their opening song that something was there, and by the end of the first song ("Red") I knew that it could be big," recalls Penick. The sold out crowd of 500+ seemed to agree, as the band won the competition. PUBLIC immediately took the to studio to record Red, their debut EP, with engineer Eric Tuffendsam (The Wonder Years, Mixtapes). Regional acclaim combined with strong sales and radio airplay propelled the band to supporting national acts at practically every show, ranging from Twenty One Pilots to Civil Twilight, in addition to appearances at festivals like Bunbury and the Midpoint Music Festival. PUBLIC's fans consistently packed shows, screaming lyrics and lining up for photo/autographs until well past show curfews. With praise from local and regional press, PUBLIC now had an entire community pushing them towards the top. The next year led to even larger strides for the band, including appearances at festivals like CMJ, SXSW, CMW and more, in addition to supporting acts like Walk The Moon, Family of the Year and Pacific Air. Shows began to continually grow as they moved into larger rooms and local press labeled PUBLIC as the next act to break into the national scene. With the stream-only release of the band's next four singles, the music industry soon caught on, opening up conversations with managers, booking agents and labels for their next release. PUBLIC's hard work and fan support had put them in the perfect position. PUBLIC is now aligning their dream team surrounding their next release, ready to hit the ground running. With a history built on community support, the band hopes to give back all that they can to their fans. PUBLIC's journey will be nothing short of amazing, and they want to share the experience with you.

The Colour Negative

Fresh on the Atlanta music scene, The Colour Negative is a group of young musicians who bring dynamic energy to the stage and live performance experience well beyond their years. With introspective lyrics, driving melodies, soulful riffs and Taylor's enthralling falsetto, these songs and stories become quickly integrated into the backbeat of life.

The band consists of front man, Ian Taylor (vocals, guitar, piano) and London Taylor (bass, backing vocals, synth). Ian states the band's drive: “In a world full of uncertainty and hopelessness, we want to show people a greater hope to believe in, a way to make a difference in someone’s life, a way of moving forward through the day-to-day."

Formerly known as 10StepsBack, The Colour Negative emerged in September of 2008 as a small garage band playing covers. Within a few years, Ian was writing all original material. The band’s 2011 debut radio single, “Shout,” gained airplay across the nation, and was followed in 2012 by their first music video for their second single release, “Sound of Angels." These two songs were featured on the extended edition EP, released in June 2012. Brothers Ian and London are seasoned performers, and have played at Celebrate Freedom, Atlanta Fest, Ichthus Festival, The Peach Drop, The Mall of Georgia Summer Concert Series, Velvet Underground, The Vinyl, Rocketown, and at numerous venues across the Southeast.

In August 2014, The Colour Negative released their first full-length, self-titled album, produced and recorded exclusively at Crankcase Studios by Ian Taylor. Upbeat songs such as "Resistant Heart" and "Colouring Book" spark uncontainable energy in the heart of the listener, while soulful ballads like "Slow Down" inspire contemplation. The album masterfully intertwines elements of photography and film (which inspired the band's name: negative images on transparent materials are used for printing positive pictures), color imagery, and optimism which will encourage fans to enjoy life and "live it well." The Colour Negative brings a distinct sound and obvious passion to an energetic music experience that inspires people to look for a deeper meaning to this life.

I The Victor

My name is Rebecca Ramos and I The Victor is my solo project/ self therapy.

My name is Rebecca; I write music almost as much as I drink coffee. I am I The Victor.

I'm a 20 year old dreamer + songwriter + musician from Atlanta. In 2013 I created this positivity project and in 2014 I started believing in it. I started playing wherever I could, shaking my shy-ness through social media, and writing new, more focused and honest music. In the past year alone some fantastic things have happened; things I am humbled and inspired by and look back on in moments of doubt. Here are some of them: my personal inspiration, Jordan Witzigrueter of The Ready Set shared my music/videos on a few separate occasions (catalyzing my belief in this project), a song called Downsides from my debut EP was chosen as an Unsigned Only winner, that song receives rotational radio play in Atlanta, Kevin Gates (The Ready Set, Never Shout Never, Plug In Stereo) produced my new EP, and I've had the honor of playing shows all over with bands like The Icarus Account, Chase Coy, 7 Minutes in Heaven, The Millenium, Dear You, Dazy The Girl, Jacob Jeffries, Matt Macelcan and many more, among other interactions that have impacted the fabric of my person infinitely.

On a more personal note, however, I struggled a lot inwardly with things like anxiety and feeling depressed, and an overwhelming the fear of future and failure. Those struggles tend to envelope me & force me to write and to channel and to write about how to defeat those demons and those dark things that want to steal your joy, even if I'm still learning how to defeat them myself.

So that's it, essentially. The cards are stacked, I'm going to keep chasing this thing that keeps me alive. My new single Self Talk comes out on December 9th and is being premiered exclusively by Alternative Press (*dead*). It is the first song from my upcoming sophomore EP and it has a lot to say for me.

Thank you for reading this. I hope it maybe made you feel like we are the same; and maybe my music will convince you
