Welcome to the 1st ever Winter Melt Down, and benefit for Hosea Feed The Hungry and a chance for musicians from a variety of Atlanta bands to come together for a good cause just before the Holidays.  It takes place on December 21st, the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year.  What we plan to feature are musicians who come from a wide range of musical styles playing together for the first time, and creating something completely new and original. There will be artists from the local Punk, Metal, Alternative, Jam Band and Hip Hop world cooking up a hot musical stew that should warm up any audience on the first night of Winter.  And all this is available for the price of two cans of food to be donated to Hosea Feed The Hungry, the same people who just served over 1000 people at their annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Turner Field.  So let's show our friends at Hosea Feed The Hungry how generous the Atlanta music scene can be!

 

The Winter Melt Down will consist of two one hour sets featuring our "House Band" backing a variety of musicians.  That will be followed by our Midnight Cypher featuring John Average, Kaedus Hines, P.U.R.E., Shalom Little, The Queendome and Sharia Amour.  Additional music will be supplied by DJ Forecast.

 

And if that isn't enough, we will end the night with The Everybody Jam that will feature all the artists together, any one who has been left out, and even the audience joining in on a song or two.  Please join us for a memorable night of great music for a good cause!
