Kodak to Graph

Allured by the pulsing incantations of cassette grain & VHS blips, live instrumentation and other found sound, Kodak To Graph’s Michael Maleki (22) delicately floats listeners through blooming clouds of synth-washes, haunting reverberations, and propulsive rhythms. Maleki’s candle-waxed R&B & flower-trailed soundscapes weave together the nostalgic tones and colors reminiscent of a quiet childhood with the urban bounce and rhythmic disposition of the more modern spirit.

Big Wild

Stemming from a relentless desire to create something new, Big Wild’s sound taps into the natural curiosity we all share by exploring beyond conventional boundaries in music. This spark was ignited when he first began creating music under the heavy influence of modern hip hop producers. Since then, he has increasingly drawn inspiration from the limitless potential of electronic music, while at the same time building a style unique to him.?

OBESØN

OBESØN (pronounced Obey-Son) the enigmatic Toronto-producer has quietly been building his repertoire of lush tracks and beats over the past year, taking cues from opposite sides of the music spectrum -- pop vocals on one hand and electronic comedown music on the other -- and mixing the two in his digital cauldron into something wholly unique.

Experience next-level, sonic bliss. Embrace your inner illumination and press play.

HYDRABADD

Bon & Catt Moop crossed paths in early summer of 2012 and came to the conclusion that their fates aligned to forge magic from their own bare hands and minds. The next few months that passed were dedicated on painting the sonic picture that is ☯ DIΛMOND SPECTRUM ☯, followed months later in 2013 by the more conceptual ♕ TEMPLE OF TRU LUV ♕. Both of these garnered extraphysical respect from many reputable sources as they moved swiftly through speakers across the planet. To add onto the remixes from Must Die! and Taste Tester, the duo was then approached by the legendary ATL curators Blkkmorris and Heroes x Villains from the VAVLT label to put together remixes of the Abra featuring track Sanctuary, with new reworks from Druid Cloak, Heroes x Villains themselves, Ira G. x NEVR, and rap verses from Major118. Their global outreach landed them a place in the Paradisiaca Recordings family, partnering with the Dutch label for the short ☬ TUNDRA NYMPH & ICE CHASM ☬, with remixes from Russia's 813 and Folie Douce's Kon, as well as ₪ PRISMIC PORTALS 2013 ₪, a split with Taste Tester as a final offering for the year. In August 2014, they unleashed their 5th conceptual work ▩ ASTRAL MIRAGE ▩, featuring five conceptual collaborations with some of Atlanta's finest musicians - and shortly after received the award for Creative Loafing's Best Experimental Music Act of 2014. From these bodies of work as well as their Magicmixes and Lone Spells, HYDRABADD's music has been played around the world, including several times on BBC Radio 1, and have been able to showcase their music in many different ways in a live setting. These range from performances accompanied by live instruments to DJ sets which have been paired with such established acts as Matthew Dear, Rustie, Sinjin Hawke, Migos Two Fresh, Da Mafia 6ix, Lotus, Mayhem, HeRobust, Cherub and many others in the southeast. The duo has also toured up the east coast to Canada with Taste Tester and No Eyes in Summer 2013 and performed at Webster Hall for 2014's summer weekly 'House Party' with DJ Sliink and Dirty South Joe. As a key piece of the newly formed ATL collective Tomahawk Chop Squad, HYDRABADD will continue to hone their wizardry, construct sonic illuminations, and spread their magic for the whole world to witness.
